Pinspiration: NYE in tulle

One more night before the last one of the year, girls! Do you have your outfit ready yet? Even though I think the whole NYE thing tends to get a little overrated (it rarely lives up to expectations, does it?), I (obviously!) love the excuse to get all dolled up. This year I was a very good girl and refrained from getting a new dress for the occasion, which means I’m currently hunting for an outfit in my own closet. In pole position: my pink tulle skirt. Because my inner Barbie/ballerina deserves a night out on the town (I so rarely let her out…)

This calls for a little pinspiration session! Turns out I’m more attracted to streetstyle versions of this look, combining the girly skirt with a loose shirt or knitted top. Not sure if that’s really NYE-proof though… A tad more glam might be in order. Decisions, decisions,… :)

On another note: getting pinspired made me realize I might really need a new midi length tulle skirt! Stumbled upon some lovely looks! Do you think in some weird fashion karma way holding off from buying a NYE dress gives me the right to a new skirt? Excuses, excuses,… :)
